On Monday, Spooks released the visual from his first single, “Zesty,” off of his upcoming album, Citrus. Produced by Mystic & Manada and engineered by Sauce Sinatra, the song has a laid back, mellow feel that allows Spooks’ flowing melodies ease you out of Summer. The song itself addresses the complex and winding path of his musical career to date.
The video, directed and produced by Fernando Espino, features California scenery and the citrusy yellow bursts of color signature to Spooks’ work. The low key visual is meant to serve as a reintroduction to Spooks as an artist as he gears up for his November 15 release of Citrus.
