Nashville-based band TRAMP STAMPS entered the music scene on Friday with their debut single, “Sex With Me.” TRAMP STAMPS, the all-girl trio consisting of Marisa Maino, Caroline Baker, and Paige Blue, bring an end to the ongoing search for the next big pop-punk group. Between the unhallowed, passionate story-telling and the edgy guitar riffs and thunderous drum breaks, “Sex With Me” is every early 2000s pop-punk fan’s dream.
Maino acts as the lead singer, with Baker on the guitar and Blue on the drums. Together, the three work together in a seemingly effortless fashion to create art that focuses on fragile masculinity and male privilege. TRAMP STAMPS use real-life experiences to carve out invigorating lyrics that will inevitably inspire women across all demographics. As Baker states, “It’s the kind of stuff women talk about all the time with their friends, but no one’s ever put it to this kind of music before.”
