Rapper, producer, and songwriter SprngBrk recently released his new single “Pride.” The R&B song uses a Jill-Scott sampled track for calm beats to accompany his warm vocals. Though the song’s title, “Pride,” comes from the ugly things that pride can make people do in a relationship, the lyrics show the romantic moments where love is still alive, like a verse that says, “You know it’s hard to get you out my head / When we’re together can’t get out of bed.”

SprngBrk directed the music video himself alongside his brother. In the video, he sings to the camera upside-down or shows the relationship’s problems with angled shots while the camera drifts around the room. It shows how pride can distort love, but as SprngBrk himself says, “Something pride can make us do crazy things. Sometimes we do crazy things that we’re not proud of. This. I’m proud of this.”

“Pride” comes from an upcoming project with collaborators like Future, Jeremih, Chris Brown, Lyrica Anderson, and more. The single is now streaming and the music video is available on SpringBrk’s Youtube channel.
