Happy Friday and Happy NMF, Nuance Fam! The summer is flying by at a cosmic rate, so it’s time to park the hovercraft at the nearest intergalactic cantina and dance the week away because we’ve searched the Cybernet and found some top-flight tunes for you to play.

Dylan Fraser – “Vampire (feat. Alaska Reid)”

Emerging Scottish alt-pop artist Dylan Fraser unveils his new song “Vampire,” teaming up with indie songstress Alaska Reid and producer Jonah Summerfield to create a synth-layered, cyberpop track that explores the sharp edge of love and vulnerability–in which you can’t hide the worst aspects of yourself from the one you love, leaving you feeling like a blood-sucking monster.

Beach Bunny – Emotional Creature

Beach Bunny, aka Lili Trifilio, releases their sophomore LP Emotional Creature via Mom + Pop Records, growing the band’s catchy indie/alt sound to new heights with producer Sean O’Keefe, while Trifilio descends to her most intimate depths of songwriting–featuring standout tracks like the self-empowering breakup single “Weeds.”

Spacemoth – No Past No Future

Spacemoth, the project of Bay Area-based and Afghan-American artist, producer, engineer, and musician Maryam Qudus, releases her debut album No Past No Future via Sadie Dupuis’ label Wax Nine via Carpark Records–a textured synth-pop record produced by her abstract tape-looping technique.

Joey Bada$$ – 2000

The legendary Brooklyn rhyme-spitter and Pro Era pioneer Joey Bada$$ follows up his classic 2012, DatPiff-era-defining debut mixtape 1999 with the follow-up 2000–circling back to his beginnings of golden-era New York boom-bap with a decade worth of new experiences and friends, with features from JID, Westside Gunn, Larry June, Chris Brown, and Diddy.

Doechii – “Persuasive (with SZA)”

Doechii remixes her infectious late-night anthem “Persuasive,” adding an irresistible feature from fellow TDE member SZA, whose impeccable melodies blend perfectly with Doechii’s rhythmic flow.
