CYN Co-Founder and NYC MC Kai Ca$h keep his summer momentum going with his new single “Can We Talk?,” enlisting the suave vocals of Devvonn Terrell and the legendary production of Dizzy Banko for an r&b/rap summer bop reminiscent of the early 2000s. With updated sonics to keep the speakers bumping, Ca$h and Terrell go back and forth in a timeless combination of smooth melodies and slick lyricism. It brings back the era when catchy hooks and sincere bars about love and romance were synonymous with top-selling hip-hop music.
As Kai Ca$h puts it, "CWT is about to bring that vibe back to the city .. back to the music scene, Hip Hop in NY has been missing its sex appeal for a while & I feel strongly about this record reviving that feeling."
Following the release of 711 Anniver$ary–an update of his 711 debut album with five new tracks, including “The West” with King Combs and 03 Greedo–and his collaborative EP with CYN Co-Founder and cousin Niko Brim Eleven53, Kai Ca$h has consistently dropping heat this summer that mixes old NY hip-hop with the new, and “Can We Talk?” hits that sweet spot dead on.
