You do not need to understand Spanish to enjoy Nicki Nicole’s new video for “Colocao.” After releasing her first album less than a year ago, the 18-year-old Argentinian hip hop star continues to deliver with her newest single. While the lyrics in translation are impressive in their own right, her seamless flow between a rhythmic rapping delivery and melodic singing keeps the song entertaining from start to finish, even without understanding the words. The video plays off of her aesthetic, jumping back and forth between different locations and outfits. It will be interesting to keep eyes on the young artist as she continues to grow considering the massive following she has already gained in such a short time.
