Hip-hop artist and Olympian, Will Claye, drops his new single “Wee Hours” via Red Bull Records. Produced by the legendary Grammy-winning DJ Khalil, the beat pulsates with hypnotic melodies and filtered horns over laidback drums, perfectly mirroring Claye’s syncopated chorus expressing an inner resilience within the darkness of night’s “Wee Hours.” Will Claye reinforces this theme on the track’s verses, in which he shines a light on the oppressive realities of lower-class communities and details his past trials and tribulations on his road to multi-faceted success. The three-time Olympic medalist has been steadily cultivating his sound since bursting onto the scene with the iconic West Coast anthem “IDGAF” featuring YG, and “Wee Hours” marks the progression of his lyrical prowess and production quality as Claye sharpens the synthesis of his music and social-messaging: "This track is inspired by my city, my people, and the kids who are growing up where I come from," says Claye of the release. "I wanted to speak for people whose voices have been suppressed. I want to inspire my people and show them that even through all the horrific things we have gone through as a people, we can make it through and rise above it all."

“Wee Hours” follows the announcement of Elevate, a documentary via Red Bull that follows Claye as he trains for the next Olympics while creating new music. Despite his past successes, Will Claye continues to push himself in music and athletics to share his message of perseverance, empathy, and equality, making himself a model for the type of ambition that can help better our society.
