Rylan, an Indie Pop artist based out of San Antonio, Texas is ready to expand to new horizons with his unique take on the genre. Rylan’s music features catchy choruses with banging drums and Rylan’s own smooth vocals on top to bring the whole package together.
Rylan started releasing music under the Rylan name in 2020, and his music and fan base have both grown exponentially in that time. 2021 saw Rylan release “37”, a 9-track joint album between him and Reed Demming, where we saw Rylan really begin to stretch his musical legs.
“more than this” will release on April 29th, and will be the first single off of the current EP that Rylan is working on. This upcoming EP is especially important to Rylan, as it details his life’s journey over the past couple of years. The upcoming EP detail how Rylan went from getting out of a difficult relationship, and how he met and married the love of his life.
These themes are more than apparent in the San Antonio native’s upcoming single “more than this”. The synthetic backdrop sets the stage for Rylan’s punchy vocals to detail meeting his now wife and the song’s catchy chorus will have you singing along to the song for the rest of the day.
Rylan hopes that his music can help bring a wave of creativity to his hometown, and “more than this” might be just the start that he needs.
