The rising artist from Australia recently featured in Nuance Issue 09, MAY-A, just announced her EP Don’t Kiss Ur Friends. The EP is set to release on August 6. Don’t Kiss Ur Friends follows the course of a relationship, outlining and shedding light on queer discovery and MAY-A’s growth as time went on. She says that “as the music developed, so did I. You can listen to me grow up, gain confidence and understand myself through the way I approach my relationships.”

MAY-A also recently shared a new version of her song, “Swing of Things,” which features verses from Powfu. The track details the aftermath of a breakup, asking “Is your heart out your sleeve, now you're gone?/Is the grass more green from where you're from?” The chorus then goes on to assert, “I can’t get back in the swing of things.”

Her incredibly personal pop hits reflect honestly on navigating love and heartbreak, sexual identity and finding oneself - ultimately garnering her fans across the globe. MAY-A’s lyrical storytelling and unique sound draw people in, ultimately selling out her debut national Australian headline tour.

MAY-A recently signed to Atlantic Records in the US and the UK, as well as Sony Records in Australia. In an interview with Billboard, MAY-A said that “It honestly feels like a dream to be working with Atlantic Records. I am so appreciative of the team I now have over there and I'm excited to delve further into creative ventures with them in the future."
