Singer-songwriter Matt Maeson announced his Never Had to Leave North American tour earlier this week. The tour announcement comes just after the release of the alternative artist’s new single “Blood Runs Red.”
The anthemic new single comes complete with Maeson’s signature raspy vocals and big, booming drums. Backing against a fuzzy guitar and interwoven violin, “Blood Runs Red” is an exploration of blatant human imperfection. For those that live so hard it feels like death sometimes, this new single assures us that at the end of the day, “my blood runs red.”
Maeson begins his headlining tour September 21 in Atlanta, Georgia. The dates include a select number of live Intimate Solo Acoustic shows and a performance at Dover, DE’s Firefly Music Festival (September 22-25). General on-sale begins today (June 3) at 10 a.m. local time. Click HERE for an extended list of tour dates and show locations.
