FLETCHER shared a new track, “Her Body is Bible” off her debut album Girl Of My Dreams—set to release on September 16.
“Her Body is Bible” is a powerful song about the triumphs of self-discovery. It reimagines religious imagery to cater to her queerness, something typically left out of traditional messages. It’s a lively, upbeat pop anthem with a lot to say.
FLETCHER was recently nominated for a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Breakout Artist and landed on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list for 2022. Her success can be attributed to her remarkable ability to tell stories lyrically and her ability to name complex emotions while giving listeners the ability to shift through their own just by listening to her songs.
“For my debut album, it felt right to do a deeper dive into self-exploration, and all the different facets that make up who I am. I wanted it to be the most honest, raw, and a complete representation of the complex and sensitive-ass Pisces that I’ve always been,” said FLETCHER.
FLETCHER has also announced the dates for her North American Girl Of My Dreams tour, which is bound to be legendary as FLETCHER has gone viral multiple times on TikTok and Twitter for her stage presence alone.
