New York native Bryce Vine gifted fans with his third EP to-date, Problems, last Friday. Since the conception of his music career back in 2011, Vine has released his debut EP Lazy Fair in April of 2014. From the EP, his two hit songs “Sour Patch Kids” and “Guilty Pleasure” rose with fame, leading to his next EP Night Circus in 2016. Night Circus included hit songs like “Glamaroma” and “Los Angeles”.
With these, Vine hit the ground running in 2011 and hasn’t slowed down since, touring and playing in major cities across the country. Amongst these locations, Vine has taken over festival stages, headlining shows and opened up for numerous artists on their tours as well. In 2017 he released his debut single “Drew Barrymore” which peaked at number 46 on the US Billboard Hot 100. “Drew Barrymore” has also gone 2x Platinum. He followed the release of the single with his debut album Carnival. The lead single from the record “LA LA Land” ft YG peaked at number 75 and is certified Gold. Now, Vine has returned with his third EP to date titled Problems. Bryce dove deep into his vulnerable past with this simplistic and somber song returning to how he first started making music when he was in high school – with a guitar, alone in his bedroom, and uncensored. With songs titled ‘Life Goes On”, “It Falls Apart” and “Problems”, we see the expression of life’s many struggles tied with the desire to overcome. “Life Goes On” was pre-released earlier this week and explores Bryce’s reaction to NBA Hall-of-Famer Kobe Bryant’s passing, highlighting the delicacy of life. Vine expresses the many struggles that he’s facing with on ‘Problems’ and hopes that his music helps to heal others dealing with the same battles. Listeners are gifted Vine’s more pensive side as he provides us with an emotionally-charged ballad of beliefs and proficiencies.
