Manchester rapper Aitch has enlisted London-based singer/songwriter Bakar for a new single, titled “In Disguise,” which is the third single to be released ahead of the platinum-selling, BRIT-nominated artist’s debut album, Close To Home, releasing August 19.
“In Disguise” is produced by LiTek and WhYJay and follows previous album singles “1989” and “Baby” featuring Ashanti, which he recently performed in a recent VEVO Studio performance. Close To Home is his official debut album after reaching global success with the EPs AitcH2O and Polaris. According to a press release, Close To Home “captures a young artist on the verge of global superstardom, spreading his wings and displaying his ever-growing songwriting skills, combining a mature and reflective side with the charisma and cocksure swagger he has become known for.”
Back in 2019, Bakar released his Will You Be My Yellow? EP which gained widespread attention, especially the song “Hell N Back” which is now certified silver.
In celebration of his album’s release, Aitch is set to “take over Ibiza Rocks for his AitcH2O pool party with special guests in August” as well as a sold-out tour across the UK and Ireland in the fall, which includes a headlining show at London’s Alexandra Palace and two headline shows in his hometown of Manchester. He will also tour across Europe early next year.
