Up-and-coming rapper Black Fortune accompanies his latest OsshLord project with visuals from standout track, “Bankrupt.” With the help of comedian and fellow Marlyander, Ayye Pap, the duo deliver a fun, energetic storyline within a music video. The beginning of the video mirrors and pays homage to the iconic scene from the movie “Bad Boys,” wherein the stars intimidate their daughter/niece’s love interest with tough-talking and gun-toting. The main plot leads to Black Fortune and Ayye Pap’s devising and carrying out a rather stylish act of larceny, leaving them anything but “Bankrupt.” With this music video, Black Fortune taps into what may be considered a lost art of cinematic Hip-Hop videos, and strengthens his presence in music.
