Born Chioma Ai Bendors IIozor, singer Ai Bendr is a young artist from Michigan who has created her own personal style and image. At age 17, Ai Bendr’s has released her debut track, “Love Me Low”, which has set the tone and represents what’s to come in the future from this talented artist. “Love Me Low”, starts off with some airy vocals over a slow and steady beat. When listening, it is easy to be drawn into Ai Bendr’s solemn and seemingly serene voice. Ai has a distinctive voice that is elevated by the filtered echo sounds, which gives her vocals a resonance to match her lyrics. At first, Ai Bendr is only accompanied by the piano, which plays its role in further softening the tone of the track. However, Ai switches up the tempo quite consistently-- an element that makes her track even more compelling.The song speeds up in the chorus and the piano is then accompanied by the guitar and drums.This gives the track more of an upbeat tempo, giving it that emphatic feeling that is important in every pop song. Throughout the chorus, Ai Bendr switches from singing solo to singing with different harmonies in the background, which give this track its own unique sounds. Ai does not have one particular style; when listening to her music there is a mix of alternative R&B and pop, which sets her apart even at the inception of her career.
