NUANCE MUSIC FRIDAY: April 1 and April 8, 2022
By the Nuance Editorial Team
Welcome back to another edition of Nuance Music Friday (please ignore that today is in fact Sunday and we are once again late). We’ve got a bit of catching up to do as we missed last week, so buckle up and open up your Spotify or Apple Music or whatever it is the kids are using these days.
Per usual, we will start with a release out of the mainstream that we like. Jack Harlow released “First Class” yesterday, sampling the Fergie song “Glamorous” for anyone born before 2000. Like pretty much all Harlow joints, this one focuses on his playful and provocative lyrics that he gets away with due to his incredibly smooth and fluid flow. He sure does talk a lot about his sexual accomplishments for someone who looks oddly similar to Mr. Tumnus from The Chronicles of Narnia.
Now we will quickly run through last weeks releases and give some brief details on some of them. Slide through all the covers below.
