Opening with the title song “Eye of the Storm,” written on a plane in the midst of COVID-19 after tour cancellations and chaos, the electronica, and bass showcase Turner's beautiful and powerful vocals. The music video, putting the viewer into a summer field, with a fairytale quality, embodies how the rest of the album will feel. The whimsicality and chaos blend perfectly with the pop music and leads into the remainder of the album.

The album has a fantastical feel, romanticizing how it feels to be a young, vibrant person on the hunt for adventure and joy. From powerful vocals to whispers that feel like private conversations told through song, the talent of Turner creates a daydream-like feeling. “Eye of the Storm” is the soundtrack to life as a young, wild, eager almost-adult, best suited for aimless drives and reckless nights.
