Las Vegas-based musician Ez Mil has released his third single “27 Bodies” along with a new music video. The song is set to appear on the 23-year-old artist’s second studio album DU4LI7Y, out this summer via FFP Records and Virgin/UMG.

About the new single, he says “I hope my track enlightens people, or at least make them critically think and be aware of our society.”

“23 Bodies” is both produced and written by Ez Mil and follows previous singles “Dalawampu’t Dalawang OO (2200)” and “Re-Up,” both of which display Ez Mil’s ability to switch between English and Tagalog, the national language of The Philippines.

According to a press release, DU4LI7Y “is a continuation of his first album Act 1,” stating that “where Act 1 envelops Ez Mil in a haze of darkness, DU4LI7Y sees him emerge from that darkness back into the light as he returns to both his roots and to himself. It’s a story of repentance and atonement that highlights Ez Mil’s unparalleled genre fluidity and reveals a more mature, refined musician.”

Ez Mil recently appeared on the Charlie Sloth Rap Show on Apple Music radio for a performance on his famous Fire in the Booth series, giving listeners a glimpse of what to expect from his new album.
