Singer/songwriter Charlotte Cardin and artist/producer Lubalin recently collaborated on a debut of "Phoenix (Reprise)," the title track from her most recent album. The duo co-wrote “Phoenix” nearly a year ago, and reunited to record the song as a duet and release a music video featuring both of them.

The song begins with a combination of chill beats and piano while Cardin and Lubalin sing verses separately, until the chorus layers in a choir of voices to support the track. Later, the two collaborators sing together on the chorus with raw vocal performances, capturing the feeling of building yourself back up after a relationship when they sing, "I had to burn everything that I was / Just to come back like a phoenix." The background vocals and beats grow in intensity until the song culminates in swells of heartbroken emotion from both Cardin and Lubalin while they harmonize.

In addition to the release, Cardin also announced her upcoming Phoenix tour, and fans can find tickets on her website. “Phoenix (Reprise)” is now streaming, and the music video is available on Charlotte Cardin’s Youtube channel.
