Former Nuance Cover Artist and budding Nashville popstar GAYLE drops the latest single off her upcoming a study of the human experience volume two, “fmk (with blackbear).” Collaborating with the established pop singer/producer blackbear, “fmk” expresses romantic frustration through a clever allusion to the “fuck, marry, kill” game, except all three desires are felt towards the same person at once, with a melody that begs the listener to sing along.
The innovative stop-motion music video, directed and animated by Chris Ullens, depicts GAYLE and blackbear in miniature toy form, wreaking havoc on the neighborhood from the explosivity of their romantic back-and-forth.
Fresh off her nominations for BEST NEW ARTIST & Push Performance of the Year for the upcoming MTV VMAs, GAYLE is set to share the second chapter in her story on October 7th with a study of the human experience volume two via Atlantic Records/Arthouse Records, and embark on her own headlining tour next year.
