Thinking that one of the hottest tracks of the year, “WHATS POPPIN’” by Jack Harlow couldn't get any better would be a reasonable thought, but as of June 24, that couldn’t be further from the truth. Normally remixes fall short of the electricity of the original, but the WHATS POPPIN REMIX will absolutely give the original track a run for its money and easily could become one of the best in recent time. With a remix featuring an all-star caliber lineup of Jack Harlow, DaBaby, Tory Lanez, and Lil Wayne, this ensemble is easily one of the best assembled this year. It’s one thing to bring on artists to remix your song but Jack Harlow writes an entirely different verse for himself with the intention of it being an entirely separate track from the original. Each bringing their own unique flow and standout sound to a sub-booming, speaker-blaring instrumental that has become one of the most recognizable in the game. Choosing the top verse of this remix should prove to be an almost impossible task but Jack Harlow comes in right off the bat on fire with a fresh and unheard verse with a different flow than the original while being complemented by an unprecedented verse from Tory Lanez that seems to end far too soon. Coming from a long journey of being slept on, Jack Harlow has not only accumulated mass amounts of clout from the original “WHATS POPPIN’” but bringing on rap industry legend, Lil Wayne (who even uses the same bars Harlow uses in the original) has verified that Jack Harlow can be a front runner in the rap game and for very good reason. For new fans, looking into his previous work is a well worthwhile investment but old fans of Jack Harlow know he’s been coming strong since his debut album in 2016. A track fit to blow out speakers across the country, if you haven’t heard it yet, you will soon.
