San Francisco-based rising artist AIR APPARENT unveils his new single, “Leave Me,” off his debut album Chromatic, set for release on September 16th. Additionally, AIR APPARENT has been featured on Spotify’s Beats of Tomorrow playlist, which promises fresh new rhythms to listeners looking ahead of the curve. Typically categorized as electronic pop, AIR APPARENT fuses a sometimes one-dimensional genre with R&B and 80’s funk.
Making music since 2017, AIR APPARENT has become a multi-time finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. He hopes to inspire young people in marginalized and under-represented communities to pursue their creative dreams and passions.
“Leave Me,” along with the rest of the tracks on the upcoming album Chromatic, focuses on human emotions and turmoils. Tracks span a vast range of human experiences; some songs personify jubilance, others embody regret, and some even symbolize the overall ethereality of life itself. Previously released tracks like “Dance” and “All By Yourself” have glimpses into the upcoming world of Chromatic.
An upbeat track, “Leave Me,” discusses heartbreak and ongoing emotional torment that a person may feel in a relationship that needs to end. Sometimes two people are not meant to be together at no fault of either person, and the best thing is to go separate ways. “Leave Me” is a fun electronic sound reminiscent of 80’s funk that fits nicely with AIR APPARENT’s past discography.
